Now for the good news! I've really felt a strong conviction to spend more undistracted time with Jesus. As most of you know, I'm a social media FREAK! I love people and keeping up with the lives of friends and family, but it is something that, sadly, takes up a lot of my private time. When there's nothing good on TV, Facebook. When I'm waiting on Micah to pick me up, Twitter feed. When I'm laying in bed before bed, Instagram. It's something that subconsciously takes the time I have where I could be using it to grow more intimately with my Father.
So... even though the paragraph above doesn't necessarily sound like "good news" it really is! I'm so glad that Jesus has convicted me to spend more time with Him. In response to His pursuing me, I've made the tough but amazing decision to "fast" or take time away from social media for a while. No time limit. No end date to "look forward to".
My American friends/family... if you need me, email me! That will be my only line of communication (unless you have my cell phone number... then text!) I can't wait to see what God has in store for this season of my life.
