Dunno about America, but in Australia, the color is poppin'!! Every time I walk into the grocery store, into class or in the city, I see ladies with bright and beautiful locks. I remember having crazy colors in my hair during grade school here and I secretly was bummed when it slowly went out of style. Now it's back and better than ever! Purple, red, pink, blue... every color accepted. And not just a little streak underneath your hair, THE WHOLE HEAD! I love it. This may be a mini confession of something I'm looking into doing... so stick around to find out. :)
